Well since I wrote so much last time, I'm just going to post some pictures. So here you go. Sorry it's been so long! I promise many more updates to come, I'm done with work for May. YAY!!
Just before the surgery, we got pictures Dad with everyone. As you can tell it's hard to get a good picture of little man anymore, he's a mover!

Reid and dad, this is when everyone got a little teary eyed.
We look like we felt, it was a rough day on 3 hours of sleep!

Mom and Dad before he went in.

This is during, Elliott used Reid as jungle gym

He loved Uncle Reid!

Elliott started to get bored, so Grandma danced with him, then

we practiced walking.

This was about 5 hours into the surgery, getting desperate for things to entertain. . .

6 hours in. . . getting very creative. Thank goodness Grandma's are such good sports!

Here's dad right after in ICU.

He was hooked up to so many machines!

Dad finally out of ICU, with his new heart :)

WOW! What an amazing guy...and family! Must have been a really long day. I am glad to hear it went well and that he is recovering. I've had 2 grandparents go through major surgeries lately...it's scary and nerve-wracking.
AWWWW!!! I loved all the pictures of Reid and Elliott! What a crappy time but so good we can all rely on each other for support through rough times! Love you!
I am glad he's ok and everything went well.
So glad you're back :) It was nice to experience Dad's surgery through pictures. Elliott and Reid together were PRECIOUS!
I am so glad everything went so smoothly! WHat a sweet family you have
The pictures told the story! Thank you for sharing. I don't think I have to tell you my thoughts, I have tears in my eyes, just thinking about it. Glad it went so well, he looks marvelous afterward!
The Reid and Elliot photos were the best. Elliot is growing so fast.
