So here's the first picture post, as promised. This is TEXAS.

Elliott loved being out of his car seat eating with us. . . he did not however love going back into his car seat so we could drive again! This isn't the best quality picture but his face was precious so I added it.

Another low quality picture, but I laugh every time I see this picture!
So we flew into San Antonio and then drove to meet Mom, Dad, and Reid in Dallas (Hilarye couldn't come because she's to close to her due date) for a little weekend fun!
Here's a little of what we did!
Mom and Elliott in the pool, I've never seen a better pair. I credit mom teaching him to splash, and bath time has never been the same. . . Thanks a lot :)

I just loved this picture.

Reid said that Dad looks like a walrus in this picture and I kind of agree. Elliott was giving Grandpa a kiss.
He doesn't look like a walrus here. Dad and Desi.

This is Elliott showing his Dad what Grandma taught him.
As for the reason we went to Texas. . . of course the start of college football. It's a family tradition, to go to either BYU or Tennessee's first game. So it was BYU's year and we were not favored to win. We were also out numbered in the brand new Dallas Cowboy's stadium. Note all the red around us!

There were a lot of O.U. fans at the game, we were on the edge of the BYU section and got to hear some pretty interesting things as BYU got closer to a win!

Dad and Reid at the game.
Why you ask are we screaming like banshee's?

Because after having to hear all of the O.U. fans nasty comments this was the score!!
Do we look tired?
We had a ton of fun at the game! We love our tradition!

So we left the next day for San Antonio, and got stuck for a couple of days! What do you do when you get stuck in San Antonio? You take advantage and to to the river walk and Alamo!
Mark and I at the Alamo.

I look goofy here, but I had to post this picture. . . those are my Father's bunny ears. . . funny Dad.

Mark and I and the very important sno cone! The river walk.

Well that will have to do because. The day after this Mark got home and Mom, Dad, Elliot, and I did not make it to Utah. . . so we stayed but the camera went with Mark so we have do documentation of the fun we had!! We did have fun though. I haven't been shopping with my dad in probably. . . um ever and he volunteered to go shopping for new work shoes with me so we went. And though every five minutes I had to tell him I could not wear sneakers to work, no not even if they are black, it was very fun! All in all Elliott's first trip to Texas, and then to Utah was super fun! While in Utah I worked and Elliott and Grandma played. When I got done working I got to play with them! We saw Auntie Gubby and Uncle Alex, and their beautifully decorated new house. We also got to go to Auntie Hilarye's baby shower, and saw Aunt Jan, Arianne, and Uncle Reid there! Our only complaint was that the trip wasn't longer! We miss you all and had so much fun!
