Christmas part one

I wanted to wait for all my siblings to send me their pictures of Christmas before I started this post but I'm afraid I'll never catch up if I do. I have to go back to work today and if I go back to work before finishing up December I feel like I'll never really feel like 2009 has actually started. Which means I'll never start my new years resolution to give up Diet Coke and lime/all diet soda, maybe I should put this off a bit longer. I am really enjoying the diet coke I'm drinking right now. NO for real I know I can give it up, so here goes.
For those who don't know my parents moved out to southern Utah right after I graduated from Ricks College, so that's where I say we're from now, I'll always be a Minnesota girl but I consider home to be where ever mom and dad are. So this year after much anticipation (3 years) we were all going HOME! Yes all which means 2 parents, 5 kids, 4 spouses, one almost spouse, 5 grand kids, and one more that was technically there but will really be joining us in July. . . for those who don't want to take the time to add all that up it's 18 if you count baby Dorow. Even if you don't want to count the baby it's 17 which makes for a pretty crowded house. We take the saying the more the merrier very litterally!
Well we'll start with getting out there I guess. We decided to go through Cincinnati, to Salt Lake City, then down to St. George. . . or so we thought. We checked our bags through to Salt Lake City, but when we got to Cincinnati we found that we couldn't get on any of the flights to SLC, long long story short we ended up going to Vegas it was Elliott's first time to Nevada so we had to document just a couple things!

Elliott and Mark are in that picture somewhere!
Here Elliott is, his first experience with the Vegas airport and all the gambling he was tempted, but we got him out of there just in time!
So we got to Vegas, but our luggage didn't! My brother and his wife are life savers, they went to the airport in SLC and talked to a great agent that sent our luggage to St. George so we were only without our stuff for one night! SO we piled in to the Expedition with the Barnes and Mom and drove to Utah (it's only about an hour and a half away). When we got home, Auntie Gubby was waiting for us, so we were already half there! On Sunday Sunny, Kevin, and the boys got there! It was great to see all the kids together! Reid, Hilarye and Dad came in a few days later, and Alex showed up the day after Christmas. It was wonderful all being together!
From left to right Josh(3), Collin(5), Morgan(5), Abbi(2), and Elliott(6months). . . the next few pictures will just be of them, because face it they are way more fun than us adults!
Ok now for some explenation this was when the moms got to go shoppingI think the kids had fun, not sure how the dad's fared but we got home and there were still 5 kids so we were impressed!! The dad's took all the kids to the mall to see Santa!

The other picture is just out side of the house on Grandma's swing.

Then there were moments like these next ones, the ones we'll never forget! There was Grandpa's pool with all the kids!

There was a lot of the pool, if it looks cold, that's because it was!! It was colder there than here in Tennessee! And yes that is snow!

Gubby(chelsie) we liked the mascara streaks :)

Then there was the running.
We ran the first three days we were there and then did the first annual Fuller Christmas Eve 5k.
We were trying to finish out Reid's and my challenge to see who could run the most miles by Christmas! I won!

Next we have the best Christmas present ever, we have to thank Kevin for it! KAROKE MACHINE!!! I can't even tell you how much fun we had with this! After the kids went to bed we stayed up way too late singing and dancing! The girls took on Tiffany, and the boys Bohemien Rhapsidy(Mark told me how to spell that). Then we decided to share the fun with the kids, they enjoyed singing Christmas songs during the day, but after the kids went to bed all the adults (minus me, I was backround sound, and dance) had their time! I have to say Dave blew us all away! He has an amazing voice!

This was a duet with Reid and April, they're singing a whole new world ha ha!

Well this is getting way too long, and I have to get ready for work! I guess I'll have to put off my resolutions for at least a couple days. When I get home I'll do Christmas part two with even more funny pictures! I just want to end with how thankful I am for my crazy, fun, loud family! I miss them all so much, it was so great to be together for Christmas!

I'm so glad you had fun with your family! I see that Elliot has already discovered the joys of the Las Vegas airport. I remember walking off the plane for the fist time in the Las Vegas airport and thinking I had been dropped off at a casino.
